Palma de Mallorca
Palma is a wonderful city and only a 15 minute drive from Reads or a 15 minute direct train journey from nearby Santa Maria train station (1.5km or 20 min. walk from the hotel.)
Walking & Hiking
Reads is set at the foot of the impressive Tramuntana Mountain range. This area is ideal for walking & hiking and we have routes and maps available at the hotels reception.
Enjoy Mallorca at its best with its stunning wildlife and birds of prey. For those interested in bird watching there is also a bird sanctuary in the Pollensa/Alcudia area of the island (only 30 minutes north from Reads).
With notice, Chef can prepare a picnic for you to take with you.
Beaches
For a day by the sea there are a number of wonderful beaches a short drive from the hotel. These include:
Illetas (approx, 25 minutes.)
Port of Soller (Approx 20 minutes.)
Bay of Alcudia (Approx. 35 minutes.)
Yacht Hire
Being an island there are numerous opportunities to hire or go out on a boat or yacht for a day or a few hours. Whatever you want we can arrange for you but prefer you advice us of your requirements before you arrive to avoid disappointment
